Cloisonne and the beginning of Ben's surprise.

This is what is called a cloisonne
factory - these ladies look like they have done this since they were teenagers. These are some partically finished pieces.





the pots to the left were getting ready to be smoothed out using different grades of stones with water.







Our evening was for us to "experience" traditional Peking Duck. This isn the entrance to the restaurant. This restaurant has served over 100 million ducks to date. They have been making Peking Duck at this restaurant or some iteration of this restaurant since the early 1900's. Today they serve 1,000 ducks a day at this restaurant.
