Amazingly Hannah's fever broke by about noon, and by time everyone came back from seeing the Panda's - she was ready to go. Dad
bought Hannah a Panda T-shirt which she promptly put on as well as a panda necklace and since all the kids got stuffed Pandas they brought one back for Hannah. this was another special touch that our tour guide had for the kids - from every major event that the kids
participated in, each child received a small gift - a memory - whether a puppet, stuffed panda, special Chinese mask, there was always something for the kids. We were now off to our first
Sichuan lunch - being in the
Sichuan Provence, it was appropriate. We all agreed this was our favorite lunch so far! Lots of
spicy tasty dishes. The picture of Hannah and Celia was in the lobby of the hotel we were just getting ready to leave. After lunch we headed to a
silk tapestry factory - where they showed us woven silk - the looms were amazing and it typically took two people to work each loom. After the tour and a bit of shopping there we headed to the "free market". we were to tour the market and then buy vegetables - we were going to a hot pot restaurant for dinner and would be cooking our vegetables along with other things (!) in a big pot - that was all that Louie told us at that point!
