This was the most amazing show. It started at 8:00 so at sunset. The "actors/singers/dancers" are farmers - real farmers - all 600 of them from villages, telling different stories with their music and dance. the stage is the river. they used boats and rafts and even a flat screen for some of it. You really need to click on the pictures and look closely - the last picture with the moon is an amazing part of the show. If you look closely at this tiny lady dancing, she will appear naked - of course she isn't, but with the body stocking and the way the story goes she is supposed to be. It was truly amazing. It was also incredibly hot sitting there and many mosquitoes so we were covered in bug spray as well as sweating like we never have - we all had big fans fanning like crazy - men and women! The pictures do not do credit to the show - but if you ever go to Guilin or Yangshuo, the river cruise and this show in Yangshuo is so worth going to! After the show, back to the hotel for a shower - all of us and a good night sleep - after a good night's sleep we were all up for a quick breakfast and another walk through the shops in the streets of Yangshuo and we then went to a cooking school where we were to learn how to make some traditional dishes - coming up! Oh, Eva - you made out in the shopping department - absolutely the cutest purse for you - you will love it :)
